"That's a story some female poet told me... You have to remember never to trust poets. Especially female poets."
Rooted in the biography of Sidonia von Borke, a noblewoman beheaded for witchcraft in 17th century Pomerania, Disonia, a movement-based piece, touches on the topics of gender-based violence. Told by a choir of women, it is a story about
resilience, bodily autonomy and unlearning what we've been told in
a grotesque world of witches, devils and serpents.
Based on the play "Dysonia" by Agata Dyczko.
