This body's made of fear

"Choreography of fear is not:
running,
screaming and falling,
getting up and falling again,

Choreography of fear is this:
It’s all the small movements -
close your zipper,
look behind you, walk faster,
do not look at your phone,
keep your hand at your pocket, holding the keys,
when walking past a man -
tense, be ready to run, be ready to fight.

A performance commenting on the psychopolitics of fear - its (mis)uses, manipulations and weaponisation through and against certain bodies. Held tightly by a rope, in a black-and-white space, the body gets entangled in the daily choreographies of fear.
