The performance refers to the “border crisis” on the Poland-Belarussian border. In 2021 the Belarusian authorities began to transfer migrants from the Middle East and Africa across the border with the EU to the territory of Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. The Polish border guard has been committing illegal push-backs, forcing migrants back into Belarus. In the forests surrounding the border there are people in a state of extreme hunger and hypothermia, requiring immediate medical assistance.
